Deep caring

Global warming is a topic that recently has become a huge topic of interest. The reason that it’s been a topic has sparked over the years is because it people have been realizing that this is a huge problem. With the polar ice caps have lost half of it’s size in the last 20 years. With the polar ice caps losing half its size, it causes the the oceans to gain water and flood lands and lose areas of population. The reason that this is an issue is because it’s killing the planet and soon we won’t be able to live on this planet.

7 Billion Other Project

Go to the website 7 billion other project, I looked in the videos tab and noticed all the different topic to choose from. The one the caught my eye the most was Family. It was interesting to see how other interacted with their family or how they all cared for them in different ways but they all seem to talk about how family is always there for you and will love no matter what you do. And that they’re always going to to love you. I truly feel that what they are saying is coming from the heart because you an see and feel the emotion that comes from them when they talk about the love and are that comes with them. I truly didn’t feel like there was a point that surprised me because the way that people were describing family made me realize that my family is like that and they care for me and love me and would do anything for me in a heart beat because that who they are and truly love me.

After reading a personal narrative by Sarah Gilbert called trapped it’s interesting to look at her idea of the story. How she talks about how people are trapped in their own minds and stuck behind the feels. Like shame, anger, and fear and how they let it control how they are going to go on. And with the the ethical rules made by society it allows the be not act as themselves. It allows them to act if they re angry, then most likely they’re going to lash out on people. Something that really interested me, that even have kids she doesn’t have a car to get around only a bike and in todays environment a car is a part of life that most people need. Like many others that read this piece I hope they found themselves questioning the way that she life and how even if you truly wanted to change the way that she was living to be more like a modern person that they would see and no matter how hard you try change someone it’s impossible without they being willing to want change. Unfortunately with todays society people aren’t willing to make change, they like to life the way that they feel comfortable and nothing can be done about it. And that sucks that people are willing to go on like that without even putting in the effort to do so.

Hallward and Charon

Charon talks about narratives as a way that a way to get your story out there, so people can be more accepting of them. She talks about that with people get their stories out not only is it a way to talk the world what happened, but it’s a way that memories will never die and that they will last forever. As long as that story continues to be told. Yes there is the fact that the story will change with everyone that tells it but there is always a way to get back to the main idea of the story. From I’m getting from this no matter what the story is or what it’s about it will always be a way to tell people what has happened.

With Anne Hallway telling her Tedtalk she tells the story of shame and now it holds people back from telling everyone who they are. She talks about how shame starts to hold back, with them holding in the shame and letting it control them. After she talks about how shame can control anyone she goes on to talk about how you can heal from shame but just talking about it to someone and to get your story out. She uses the example of the LGBQT community and how they are willing to come out for years and tell the world who they are and how they aren’t afraid of who they are.
